Final de la Copa Davis 2018

November 23, 2018 - November 25, 2018 - Francia y Croacia compiten en la Final de la Copa Davis en Lille. Lucas Pouille, el 32º número mundial, dirige al equipo francés buscando defender su título 2017 y reclamar una 11ª corona en total, mientras que Croacia, dirigida por el número 7 mundial Marin Cilic, aparece por tercera ocasión en la final luego de vencer a Eslovaquia en 2005 y de perder ante Argentina en 2015.

France, captained by Yannick Noah, defeated the Netherlands, Italy and Spain en route to the final, and have selected the experience of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to complete their five-man team.

Croatia beat Canada, Kazakhstan and the USA to make the showpiece in Lille, and will be relying on Marin Cilic, the 2014 U.S. Open champion and this year’s Australian Open finalist, to lead their attack. Captain Zeljko Krajan has also selected doubles world number 3, Mate Pavic.

The two nations have met twice previously. France beat Croatia in 2004 but the Croatians were victorious in the World Group semi-final in 2016.
