Sorteo de etapa de grupos de la Liga de Campeones 2018-19

September 18, 2018 - June 1, 2019 - La nueva temporada de la Liga de Campeones de Europa arranca el 18 de septiembre y culmina con la final, el 1 de junio de 2019, en el Estadio Metropolitano en la capital española, el nuevo hogar del Atlético Madrid.
El actual campeón Real Madrid enfrentará a Roma, CSKA Moscow y Viktoria Plzen en las etapas de grupos, mientras que el finalista 2018 Liverpool se medirá con Paris St-Germain, Napoli y Red Star Belgrade. Por otra parte, el cinco veces ganador de la Liga de Campeones Cristiano Ronaldo se enfrentará a su antiguo equipo Manchester United con su nuevo club, Juventus, luego de su transferencia por €100m al equipo italiano este verano.

The Champions League final is the most watched annual sporting event worldwide. The final of the 2012-13 tournament had the highest TV ratings to date, drawing 360 million television viewers. It was played at Wembley Stadium in London, England, where Bayern Munich beat Borussia Dortmund in the first all-German Champions League final.

Real Madrid are the defending champions, having won the title for three successive seasons in 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18.
