Aprobación para las conversaciones Trump-Kim

By Duncan Mil

June 12, 2018 - Siete de cada diez estadounidenses dicen que apoyan las conversaciones directas entre EUA y Corea del Norte sobre su programa nuclear, pero muchos dudan que serán significativas, según un sondeo de Pew Research Center

Following Tuesday’s unprecedented meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, both sides pledged to work toward the denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula and to begin high-level negotiations.

However, the summit produced few specific new commitments from Pyongyang to surrender its nuclear weapons, pushing any details on timing and verification of disarmament to future negotiations.

A document signed by Trump and Kim provided little on how to make the denuclearisation process “complete, verifiable and irreversible” -- long-stated U.S. goals.
