Búsqueda nuclear de Corea del Norte

By Duncan Mil

June 11, 2018 - Desde que EUA retiró las armas nucleares tácticas de sus bases en Corea del Sur en 1991, cinco presidentes de EUA han ofrecido incentivos a Corea del Norte para que renuncie a su persecución de armas nucleares

North Korea conducted its sixth nuclear weapons test from the Punggye-Ri Nuclear Test Facility on September 3, 2017, a day after Pyongyang published photos of Kim Jong-un with what it claims is a hydrogen bomb.

The independent Norwegian Research Organization (NORSAR) determined the magnitude of the test to have been 5.8. NORSAR calculated that the yield of the test device would be about 120 kilotons -- or about eight times the power of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945, and about six times that of the fifth test conducted at Punggye-Ri on September 9, 2016.
