September 11, 2011 - Since the attacks of September 11, 2001, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have cost American taxpayers over $1 trillion. Of this, some $160 billion has been spent on futuristic military devices such as drones, microchip-controlled ammunition and “Iron Man”-style exoskeletons.
