Washington DC mid-air collision

January 30, 2025 - A search for survivors is underway after an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army helicopter collided on the approach to Ronald Reagan National Airport.

Flight 5342 was en route form Wichita, Kansas to Washington DC carrying 60 pasengers and four crew when it collided with the U.S. Army Black Hawk over the Potomac River.
