Trump’s new cabinet taking shape

November 14, 2024 - President-elect Donald Trump is filling key posts in his second administration with some of his staunchest defenders and loyalists as he prepares to return to the White House.

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump chose two loyalists with little experience for several key cabinet positions, stunning some allies.

Matt Gaetz, 42, Trump's choice for U.S. attorney general, has never worked in the Justice Department, or as a prosecutor, and was investigated by the Justice Department over sex trafficking allegations.

Tulsi Gabbard, tapped as director of national intelligence, has little direct experience with intelligence work.
