NBA season set for 2024-25 Tip-Off

October 22, 2024 - April 13, 2025 - The 79th National Basketball Association season launches with the Boston Celtics as reigning champions after beating the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Finals -- clinching a record 18th title, to surpass fierce rivals the Los Angeles Lakers.

The NBA is one of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States. This year features second edition of Emirates NBA Cup before traditional play-offs decide Eastern and Western champions to clash in NBA Finals -- a best-of-seven championship series between the top two teams which takes place in June.
