November 26, 1939: Rock diva Tina Turner was born. She rose to fame in the 60s with then-husband Ike and then had an international solo career. She died in May 2023 at age 83

November 29, 1394: Korean ruler Yi Seong-gye, founder of the Joseon Dynasty, moved his capital from Kaesong to Hanyang, now known as Seoul. Yi reigned from 1392 to 1398
November 30, 2023: Shane MacGowan, hard living frontman of Irish band The Pogues whose hits include Fairytale of New York (1987), died from pneumonia at age 65
