October 1, 2024 - Europe’s new UEFA Champions League season continues, with the inaugural 36-team league format creating highly anticipated encounters. Key fixtures including Arsenal, with coach Mikel Arteta instilling culture of defensive solidity, taking on PSG, Borussia Dortmund hosting Celtic, and Bayer Leverkusen facing AC Milan.

The 70th season of Europe's elite club competition, and the 33rd since it was renamed the UEFA Champions League, this is the first under the new format. It kicks off on 9 July 2024 with the qualifiers, and runs until the final on Saturday May 31, 2025 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

Real Madrid are defending champions having defeated Borussia Dortmund in the 2024 final.

The UEFA Champions League is contested by the highest ranked teams of the strongest UEFA national associations. It is the top club competition in European football and one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. The Champions League final is the most watched annual sporting event worldwide.
