September 17, 2024 - May 31, 2025 - Europe’s new UEFA Champions League season kicks off on September 17 and culminates with the final at Munich’s Allianz Arena on May 31, 2025. Inaugural draw of the new format of Europe’s primary club football tournament – with a 36-team league system introduced.

Pot 1 teams: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, PSG, Liverpool, Internazionale, Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Barcelona.

Real Madrid are defending champions having defeated Borussia Dortmund in the 2024 final.

The UEFA Champions League is contested by the highest ranked teams of the strongest UEFA national associations. It is the top club competition in European football and one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. The Champions League final is the most watched annual sporting event worldwide.
