FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar

March 2, 2024 - November 2, 2024 - The FIA World Endurance Championship will feature Hypercars from nine different manufacturers, combining technical variety with sporting equality.

Encouraged by the level playing field, Alpine, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Isotta Fraschini, Lamborghini, Peugeot, Porsche and Toyota will all be entering hypercars in the 2024 World Championship.

Different engineering architectures are able to compete against one another in equal terms using a Balance of Performance calculation, in which race potential is balanced through adjustments to power, weight and aerodynamic performance, including an allocated energy usage, stimulating innovation without an escalation in costs.

Torque meters installed at the driveshaft accurately measure the total energy used live during a race, to ensure each car stays within its performance window as well as providing telemetry data to the viewing public.
