Data analysts Altrata, have compiled a list of the top 20 favourite cities of the super-rich, where they own either a primary or secondary home.

New York is the clear favourite, with 21,714 ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWI) owning properties there.

Second is London with 15,907 UHNWIs, and close behind is Hong Kong on 15,175.

U.S. cities dominate the list, taking a total of 14 of the top 20 spots – which according to the report, reflects the size of the country’s wealth market and its geographic and business diversity.
