Beyoncé breaks Grammy wins record with 32 awards

By Ninian Carter

February 6, 2023 - Beyoncé has made history by winning a record-breaking 32nd Grammy Award for her euphoric dance album, “Renaissance”.

American singer, songwriter and dancer Beyoncé has broken the record for most career wins at the Grammy Awards.

She added four Grammys to her collection, bringing her lifetime total to 32 – overtaking late classical conductor George Solti, whose record of 31 Grammys had stood for more than 20 years.

Beyoncé’s 2023 awards were:
Best Dance/Electronic Music Album – “Renaissance”
Best R&B Song – “CUFF IT”
Best Traditional R&B Performance – “PLASTIC OFF THE SOFA”
Best Dance/Electronic Recording – “BREAK MY SOUL”

Earlier in the ceremony, Beyoncé missed being able to collect her first award of the evening after getting stuck in grid-locked Los Angeles traffic.
