Max Verstappen profile 2023

March 3, 2023 - November 26, 2023 - The 74th Formula One World Championship commences with the Bahrain Grand Prix and concludes in Abu Dhabi in November. Two-time reigning World Champion Max Verstappen races for Red Bull in the 2023 season, after the Dutch driver dominated the 2022 Championship with 454 points. His team-mate is Mexican driver Sergio Perez.

The Formula One World Championship, the premier class of motor racing, is organised by the governing body of international motorsport, the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

Twenty drivers will contest the 2023 World Championship:

Alfa Romeo Racing: Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu
AlphaTauri-Red Bull: Nyck de Vries (NEW), Yuki Tsunoda
Alpine-Renault: Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly
Aston Martin: Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll
Ferrari: Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr.
Haas-Ferrari: Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenberg
McLaren-Mercedes: Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri (NEW)
Mercedes-AMG: Lewis Hamilton, George Russell
Red Bull Racing: Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez
Williams-Mercedes: Alexander Albon, Logan Sargeant (NEW)
