Situation report day 271
November 21, 2022 - Moscow and Tehran are believed to have agreed a deal to build Iranian-designed weaponised unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Russia according to intelligence seen by western security agencies.
Iran will transfer designs and key components to Russia to begin its own drone production within months.
The International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN nuclear watchdog, is to inspect the Zaporizhya Nuclear Power Plant amid calls for nuclear safety and a security zone to be set up and respected by both sides after shelling damaged buildings and equipment, coming within metres of reactors. No critical damage was sustained, radiation levels are reported to have remained normal and there were no casualties.
