November 7, 2022 - Ukrainian forces are closing in on the city of Kherson, where nine SBU special forces planning sabotage attacks were reportedly captured by Russian authorities.
Russian occupation officials are continuing the evacuation of the city, promising a payment of 100,000 roubles to each person who leaves and resettles in Russia, although some have refused to leave.
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan has claimed that “channels to communicate with the Russian Federation at senior levels” are open, and Russian and U.S. officials are discussing the resumption of talks on strategic nuclear weapons as Moscow dials down the nuclear rhetoric.
