Georgia win gives Democrats 51-49 majority in Senate
December 7, 2022 - Democrats have secured an outright majority in the U.S. Senate after Raphael Warnock won the Georgia runoff election against Republican challenger Herschel Walker.
Democrats will have a 51-49 Senate majority for the rest of President Joe Biden’s current term. There will be divided government, however, with Republicans having narrowly flipped control in the House of Representatives, AP said.
