Berlin Marathon 2022
September 25, 2022 - More than 45,000 runners from 150 countries are set to take part in the 46th Berlin Marathon. Starting and finishing near the Brandenburg Gate, the course is commonly regarded as the world’s fastest.
Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge will be making a return to the city, four years after he set the marathon record in 2018 with a time of 2:01.39.
Kipchoge will be chasing a fourth Berlin Marathon title in this year’s event, which would equal the achievement of Ethiopia’s Haile Gebrselassie, who won the race from 2006-09.
