June 10, 2022 - Ukrainian forces were holding their positions in intense street fighting and under day and night shelling in Severodonetsk but they are losing up to 200 troops a day, an aide to President Zelensky said.
Ukraine's Security Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said on Thursday the situation in Severodonetsk was “extremely complicated” and Russian forces were focusing all of their might in the area.
Also in Donbas, two British men and a Moroccan national, captured while fighting for Ukraine, were sentenced to death by a proxy Russian court in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
In the south, the city of Mariupol is at risk of a cholera outbreak as Moscow struggles to provide basic facilities in the occupied territories, the UK intelligence reported.
