Giro d’Italia route 2022

May 6, 2022 - May 29, 2022 - The 105th edition of the Giro d’Italia starts in Budapest, Hungary on May 6, and ends with a time trial in the historic city of Verona, after a gruelling 21 days and 3,437.6km, taking in an altitude gain of 50,610m.

The Giro 2022 features six mountain stages, including perennial favourite Monte Zoncolan - one of the hardest climbs in Europe - six hill stages, seven sprint stages and two time trials, and passes through 14 of Italy’s 20 regions.
