April 29, 1995: A car bomb tore apart a federal office block in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people. It remains the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history

April 20, 2010: An explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico killed 11 workers and triggered the world’s largest accidental marine oil spill

April 21, 2019: More than 250 people were killed and around 500 others injured in multiple bombings that targeted churches and hotels in Sri Lanka
