December 16, 2019 - The draw for the Last 32 in the Europa League pits five-time champions Sevilla against CFR Cluj of Romania, and a clash between Arsenal and Olympiacos. Other notable ties of the round include matches featuring Ajax, Internazionale and Benfica, teams all eliminated from the Champions League, against Getafe, Ludogorets and Shakhtar Donetsk respectively. The matches begin on February 20.

The 2019-20 UEFA Europa League is the 49th season of Europe’s secondary club football tournament.

The winners of the tournament automatically qualify for the 2020-21 Champions League group stage, and earn the right to play against the winners of the 2019-20 Champions League in the 2020 UEFA Super Cup.

Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national league and cup competitions.
