June 11, 2019 -- The annual E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is taking place in Los Angeles. Nintendo is showcasing several franchise updates, including for the first time, its Switch remake of “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” – originally released for the Game Boy in 1993.

During E3 2019, Nintendo broadcast a new Nintendo Direct presentation on Tuesday, June 11.

Nintendo Direct E3 2019 focused entirely on brand new game titles coming in 2019 and 2020, with no talk of a new console.

The game giant’s 2019 lineup includes Super Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Astral Chain, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age — Definitive Edition, Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch, Daemon X Machina, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword and Shield, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

NEW GRAPHIC NEWS - a new website for a new era.

28 years ago — April 2, 1991 — the original Graphic News launched using a precursor to today’s websites that used email technology. These enabled infographics to be delivered electronically around the world over telephone lines. What was possible was very limited - It took 10 minutes for a 100K file to download.

Since then delivery speeds and website technology have moved on. The new website will offer the best online experience possible now, adding many new features (and offering new opportunities for the future), but still enabling existing users to select and download infographics and enjoy the distinct brand of visual journalism that is Graphic News.

Over the coming weeks I will give further information. Please contact me if you have any questions. Fiona Roberts, froberts @ graphicnews.com
