Emmanuel Macron’s poll numbers slide

November 19, 2018 - Only 25 percent of those surveyed between November 9 and 17 say they are satisfied with France’s President Emmanuel Macron, according to a survey of almost 2,000 people by Le Journal du Dimanche.

Emmanuel Macron’s popularity has taken another hit, according to a poll out Sunday. With the latest fuel tax protests escalating across France, widespread discontent with his economic reforms continues unabated.

Macron, who came to power 18 months ago vowing to rebuild the economy, has brushed off slumping ratings to push on with a series of reforms.
