October 19, 2018 - October 21, 2018 - Sixteenth round of the 2018 MotoGP season at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit, Japan.

The 70th Road Racing Championship is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (F.I.M), which is based in Switzerland and has 112 affiliated National Motorcycle Federations (FMN) over six continents.

The live results are shown for each of the sessions, plus a start list and animation of the circuit with key data.

Grand Prix motorcycles are purpose-built prototypes that are not available for purchase and can not be driven legally on public roads. They are estimated to be worth about 2 million US dollars each as they can not easily be replaced.

The 2018 Championship includes motorcycles from 6 constructors (Aprilla, Ducati, Honda, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha) in 12 Teams (Ducati with 4, Honda with 3, Yamaha with 2 and the others with 1 each).

The highest recorded speed for a MotoGP motorcycle is 361 km/h (224 mph), set by Andrea Dovizioso, during the warmup at the 2016 Qatar Grand Prix.
