FA Cup Final 2018

By Chris Dinsdale

May 19, 2018 - The final of the FA Cup, the world’s oldest association football competition, will be contested this year by Chelsea and Manchester United.

Manchester United have won the FA Cup on 12 previous occasions and are making their 19th appearance in the final, while Chelsea are hoping to secure an eighth title after losing out to Arsenal in 2017.

This will be the third final between the two teams – The Reds and The Blues. United secured a 4-0 win in 1994 and Chelsea, then managed by current Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, claimed an extra-time victory in 2007.
