Denmark to host 2018 IIHF World Championship

May 4, 2018 - May 20, 2018 - The IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship comes to the cities of Copenhagen and Herning as Denmark hosts the sport’s top annual international tournament for the first time. Teams from 16 countries will compete for the gold medal, with Sweden hoping to defend the title they won last year after beating Canada in a shootout in Cologne, Germany.
