Giro d’Italia 2018

May 4, 2018 - May 27, 2018 - The first Grand Tour of the cycling season, the Giro d’Italia sets off from Jerusalem in Israel, finishing in Rome three weeks later. Over 200 riders will compete for the pink jersey.

The Giro d’Italia is the first Grand Tour of the year. Competitors include 18 UCI World Tour teams plus four invited wildcard teams. The Giro d’Italia sets off from Jerusalem in Israel, marking the first time a Grand Tour will start outside of Europe. The 21 stages of the 2018 race feature eight summit finishes, including Monte Zoncolan on Stage 14, and two individual time trials. Rome will host the final stage for only the fourth time, with a 118km circuit around the city’s narrow streets.
