Louvre Abu Dhabi opens its doors to visitors

November 11, 2017 - After 10 years of planning and construction, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is finally set to open its doors to the public. Featuring a vast silver dome filled with art, the museum will be the first of its kind in the Arab world.
At total of 23 permanent galleries will showcase more than 600 pieces of art, including 300 loaned by 13 French museums for the inaugural year.
