France holds Bastille Day celebrations amid tight security concerns, Venezuela’s embattled government is set to elect a constituent assembly, and the trial of ousted Thai prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra is due to conclude. Dubai plans to introduce a drone passenger-carrying service, NASA will fly its Juno probe directly over Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, and the IOC awards hosting rights for the 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games.
