Downfall of South Korea’s president

March 10, 2017 - South Korea's President Park Geun-hye has become the country's first democratically elected leader to be forced from office. The country’s Constitutional Court unanimously upheld parliament's decision to impeach Park over her role in a corruption scandal that also landed the head of the Samsung conglomerate in jail.
