London’s new “green” taxi to sell globally

March 7, 2017 - The brand new hybrid-electric TX5 – the biggest leap forward in the history of London’s iconic black cab – is due to hit the streets of London by the end of the year and cities across the world from 2018.

London Taxi Company (LTC) opens its new £300m factory in Coventry in March and is expected to produce at least 36,000 TX5s per year. LTC will target European capitals for sales of the TX5 from 2018.
