Italy referendum result

December 5, 2016 - Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has vowed to resign after suffering a heavy defeat in a referendum over his plan to reform the constitution. With 91% of votes counted in Sunday’s referendum, 59.7% of voters rejected the reform, according to figures from Italy’s Interior Ministry.
