Chicago Marathon 2016
October 9, 2016 - The 39th Bank of America Chicago Marathon is expected to see over 40,000 participants, sending runners along a scenic downtown course ending in Grant Park. Dickson Chumba, winner in 2015, heads the men’s elite field after the withdrawal of injured world record holder Dennis Kimetto, but faces tough competition from 2012 champion, Tsegaye Kebede. In the women's race, Kenyan Florence Kiplagat will vie to defend her 2015 title against main challenger Atsede Baysa from Ethiopia.
