Super Rugby Championship final 2016

By Chris Dinsdale

August 6, 2016 - The Super Rugby Championship final takes place in Wellington, between Hurricanes of New Zealand and Lions of South Africa. The Hurricanes, with championship top scorer Beauden Barrett, are in a second consecutive final after losing out to Highlanders last season, while Lions, who suffered elimination from the competition in 2012, are in their first final after a remarkable turnaround in fortunes. New Zealand teams have dominated the championship since the inaugural season in 1996, winning 13 of 20 titles.
