BREXIT
Eurozone GDP
May 3, 2016 - The eurozone economy expanded 0.6 percent in the first three months of 2016, meaning growth in the 19-country currency bloc is now at the same rate as it was before the 2008 financial crisis.
The increase means the eurozone economy is now 0.4 percent bigger than it was in the first quarter of 2008, before the deep recession which followed the global financial crisis.
Since then, the eurozone's prolonged slump has taken a toll on confidence, morphing into a regional debt crisis that at various times threatened the future of the euro itself.
