WRC Rally Mexico 2016
March 3, 2016 - March 6, 2016 - The Rally Guanajuato Mexico is based in the city of Leon, 400km north-west of Mexico City. Drivers have to master gravel roads in the first of six consecutive dirt rounds, and the first hot gravel event since Australia last September. Temperatures close to 30°C put stress on engines and transmissions, and the route climbs to the season’s highest point at 2,737m, where engines can lose around 20 percent of power in the thin air. New for 2016 is the monster 80km Guanajuato, the longest WRC stage since 1983.
