February 28, 2016 - Leonardo DiCaprio is hotly tipped to win his first Oscar for the survivalist drama, The Revenant, in which he stars as frontiersman Hugh Glass, seeking revenge against those who murdered his son and left him for dead. DiCaprio has been nominated for six Academy Awards five for acting and one for producing, over the course of his lengthy Hollywood career.

Ahead of the Oscars, DiCaprio is also favourite to add a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Awards) to his collection of Best Actor awards for The Revenant, which include a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild statuette.
