Climate change pledges

November 30, 2015 - Pledges from 148 countries that cover nearly 90% of global emissions, known as INDCs or Intended Nationally Determined Contributions, will form the centrepiece of the make-or-break Paris conference on climate change
Analysis of the pledges by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change concludes that temperatures will reach 2.7 degrees C by the end of the century rather than the internationally-agreed two-degree target above pre-industrial levels.
