November 26, 2015 - Rita Ora, Kosovo-born British singer, actress and model, turns 25. Her first album, Ora, released in 2012, debuted at No.1 in the UK, and her success soon spread to the U.S. and beyond. In 2015, she became a coach on The Voice UK, and a judge on The X Factor. Ora’s Kosovar Albanian parents moved to England in 1991, when Rita was a year old, to escape the persecution of ethnic Albanians under Slobodan Milosevic’s regime. In July 2015, Ora was named an honorary ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo and pledged to help the youth of the country.
