Russia to deliver S-300 missiles
November 12, 2015 -
The first delivery of Russia's S-300 advanced missile defence system to Iran will take place in August or September, according to industrial conglomerate Rostec. The deal comes after Moscow halted an earlier agreement due to international sanctions against Tehran.
The highly capable weapon could render large parts of Iran virtually invulnerable to attack by conventional strike aircraft.
