OBITUARY
Günter Grass
By Jordi Bou
April 13, 2015 - Günter Grass, German Nobel literature prize winner and author of The Tin Drum, has died aged 87. Hailed as a literary innovator for his magical realist style, Grass was for many the voice of a German generation that came of age in World War Two and bore the burden of their parents' guilt for the atrocities of the Nazis.
