Graphic News

April 25, 2015 -- Top jump jockey AP McCoy heads into retirement following a spectacular career in which he has dominated the sport for over two decades. McCoy formally bows out as the season ends with the bet365 Jump Finale at Sandown Park, when he will be named Champion Jockey for the 20th consecutive year.

McCoy rides the favourite, Shutthefrontdoor, in his final Grand National on Saturday April 11, and has said he will retire immediately if he wins. He has been victorious in the world’s most famous jump race once before, riding Don’t Push It in 2010.
