March 26, 2014 - American singer and actress Diana Ross celebrates her 70th birthday. She rose to fame as the lead singer of the Supremes, the most successful act of the Motown era in the 1960s. She went solo in 1970, enjoying hits such as Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand), and Ain't No Mountain High Enough, and also ventured into acting, most notably as Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues. Ross has sold over 100 million records worldwide and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
