Fehmarn Belt tunnel project

June 3, 2016 - Denmark is set to commence work on one of Europe’s largest ever infrastructure projects, with the construction of an 18km-long undersea tunnel to Germany. The planned Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link will be the world’s longest combined road and rail tunnel.
