March 2, 2013 - The Volkswagen Golf 7 has been named the 2013 European Car of the Year at the Geneva Auto Show. The eight candidates for the award were Ford B-Max, Hyundai i30, Mercedes A-Class, Peugeot 208, Renault Clio, Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86, Volkswagen Golf, Volvo V40.
