January 20, 2013 - The second inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States is scheduled to take place. Inauguration Day is traditionally held on January 20 but as this falls on a Sunday Obama will be sworn in at a private ceremony at the White House, with all the pomp of the public ceremony at the Capitol pushed back a day to January 21.
