Fünfte und letzte Indiana Jones Filmpremiere in Cannes

By Ninian Carter

June 28, 2023 - Bevor er seinen Hut für immer auf den Nagel hängt, ist Harrison Ford zurück für das letzte Abenteuer des Peitschen-knallenden Archäologen in "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny".

At the age of 80, Harrison Ford is returning for a final outing as intrepid archaeologist Indiana Jones (playing a 70-year-old).

His co-stars include Phoebe Waller-Bridge (known for Fleabag, Solo: A Star Wars Story), Mads Mikkelsen (Rogue One, Hannibal) and Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro, Puss in Boots).

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” is one the most highly anticipated world premieres at the Cannes Film Festival this year – with fans especially keen to see the results of a de-aging special effect trick used on Ford in the lengthy opening action sequence.

Dial of Destiny is the first Indiana Jones film not to be directed by Steven Spielberg, so fans will be interested to see how director James Mangold has handled the fifth and final instalment.

The movie premiere’s in Cannes on May 18 and goes on general release on June 28.
