Westaustralien erwartet Zyklon Ilsa

April 13, 2023 - Australiens Nordwest-Region, Heimat des weltgrößten Eisenerz-Export-hubs, erwartet für Donnerstag einen extrem starken tropischen Zyklon, den stärksten in zehn Jahren.

Cyclone Ilsa was on Thursday afternoon upgraded to a category five storm, the highest rating.

The storm is expected to make landfall late on Thursday or early on Friday with winds of up to 315km/h at its core, the Bureau of Meteorology said.
